Nature is an eight-level residential building on The Esplanade at Cotton Tree, overlooking the Maroochy River. Built for Cube Developments, it comprises thirteen residences above a ground-floor amenity level set beneath a sculptural undercroft.

Reinforcement installation throughout the structure:
Our crews fixed reinforcement through the build, working to the engineer’s drawings and to the site’s pour program. Steel was fixed, checked and ready ahead of each pour so formwork and concrete crews were never held up, with consistent crews on site through the structure and regular contact with site management to keep labour matched to the schedule.
Nature’s curved architectural form meant reinforcement had to follow geometry more demanding than a standard floor plate, particularly through the balcony edges and the ground-floor undercroft. Bar placement, laps and cover were set out closely against the structural drawings and coordinated with the formwork crews ahead of each pour.
Steel fixing was completed across the structure, with reinforcement installed and signed off through the build.
