Avalon is a two-building residential development on Duporth Avenue, set on the banks of the Maroochy River at Maroochydore. Delivered by Mosaic Property Group, it comprises eighty-six apartments, sub-penthouses and penthouses, with ground-floor amenity areas and a private pontoon.
The project was completed in April 2021.

Our crews fixed reinforcement through the build, working to the engineer’s drawings and to the site’s pour program. Steel was fixed, checked and ready ahead of each pour so formwork and concrete crews were never held up.
Avalon’s two buildings were designed as separate structures, which meant running reinforcement on two fronts with distinct programs rather than one repeating sequence. We held crews across the site so labour could move between buildings as each required, keeping steel ahead of the pour on both through to completion in April 2021.
