Rockpool Residential Aged Care is a purpose-built aged care facility at Pelican Waters on the Sunshine Coast, close to the marina and village precinct. Built by McNab, construction commenced in late 2022 and the facility opened in November 2023.
Reinforcement was fixed from the ground up:
Our crews fixed reinforcement through the build, working to the engineer’s drawings and to McNab’s pour program. Steel was fixed, checked and ready ahead of each pour so formwork and concrete crews were never held up, with consistent crews on site through the structure and regular contact with site management to keep labour matched to the schedule.
Steel fixing was completed across the structure, with reinforcement installed and signed off through the build. The facility opened in November 2023.
